As summer unfolds, we at Dust Projects HQ are delighted to share the latest updates from our world of master building. This month, we shine a spotlight on our core philosophy and highlight what sets us apart in the industry: our dedication to being Master Builders.

I’m frequently asked where the Dust name comes from, so here goes … I was always interested in the weather, and breaking down the boundary between inside and outside, and I had this strange obsession with dust. Architects are so against it, but everything we do is related to it. The name came from the biblical reference, “Earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust.” It’s all about creating indoor/outdoor flow.

At Dust Projects we think that learning on the job is far more valuable than anything you can learn in the classroom, or from a book. So we’re super-excited to introduce our first two Dust Projects apprentice builders.
