As summer unfolds, we at Dust Projects HQ are delighted to share the latest updates from our world of master building. This month, we shine a spotlight on our core philosophy and highlight what sets us apart in the industry: our dedication to being Master Builders.
Master Builders: Crafting Excellence
At Dust Projects, we take immense pride in being Master Builders. Our team hybridises technology and tradition by using BIM software to design and price each project, combined with traditional craftsmanship and construction, to deliver projects that stand the test of time. Historically, the master builder was the architect—an individual who not only designed the entire building but also supervised each trade and supplier throughout the construction process. Over time, the role of the architect has become marginalised. We aim to change that, and we are using technology to streamline that change.
In planning: Kensington
We are excited to share the draft renders for our latest project in Kensington. The front elevation showcases a classic design, perfectly blending with the surrounding architecture. The rear elevation features a contemporary extension, offering a seamless indoor-outdoor flow. Stay tuned for more updates as we progress with this elegant project.
Ongoing Projects:
Swanmore Lodge, Swanmore
We’ve completed the roof (you’ll be happy to know before bat season.) Next, we’re building a beautiful extension and finishing the project off with elegant landscaping. But most excitingly, we’re referencing the local Meon Valley architectural vernacular by cladding the curved walls in Hampshire flint!
Bay Tree Cottage, Titchfield
We’ve almost completed this project. The kitchen is being fitted, and the cladding is on order. With just a few finishing touches remaining, we’re excited to see the transformation come together. Stay tuned for the final reveal of this beautifully crafted space, blending modern comforts with timeless design.
Goaters Cottage, Sparsholt
We’ve completed the roofing with integrated solar panels, a sustainable choice that combines functionality with energy efficiency. The internal fit-out is currently ongoing, with our team meticulously working on the interiors to ensure every detail meets our high standards. We're excited to see this eco-friendly project come to life, blending modern technology with traditional craftsmanship.
